Langley (5) vs Stone Bridge (1) 9:20 - 10:50 PM AIH East
Briar Woods (3) vs Bishop O'Connell (2 ) 8:40 - 10:10 PM Prince William
Monday night in Reston, Battlefield came out flat and never changed gears, Bishop O'Connell cruised to a 4-3 victory.
Langley was up next and easily beat Oakton 4-0.
Over in Ashburn, the defending champs had their hands full. Chantilly pushed them into ovetime but Briar Woods had a little more in the reserve tank as they scored the winner with 2:19 left in the first overtime for a 6-5 victory.
The Stone Bridge game was duplicate of the league game between the two. Stone Bridge took advantage of the Woodbridge penalties and won 6-2.
