No Upsets in Round 1 ...Top 8 play Monday

First game of the night had Woodbridge walk over McLean with a 6-0 win. Young McLean had no answer for the stronger, more experience team Woodbridge.

Osbourn Park had a great effort in pushing Langley to the limit. Lizzy Weingast benefited from watching "TJ Oshie", on a breakaway with 1 minute left she fired the puck through the 5-hole on Nick Lober for the GWG. Langley finished OP off with a empty netter to win 4-2.

Moving over to Ashburn Ice House, the John Litscher show continued as Battlefield downed Broad Run 5-4. The back and forth game was one of the best of the night, Broad Run just couldn't stop the leagues top scorer.

The final game of the night was closer than the score indicates. Chantilly had their hands full with new independent team Partiot in the 7-3 victory, Ben Nicoll and Keegan Kelly continued their scoring from the allstar game as the pair did all the scoring for Chantilly.
