LANGLEY'S KAM KHAZAI IS AWARDED PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Inbetween Championship games Friday night, the NVSHL announced their All State Team for the 2022-23 Season.
 
Langley’s Kam Khazai was named Player of the Year.  Khazai a senior at Langley led the his team in scoring with 37 points and led them to the NVSHL Championship scoring the winning in OT.  . 
 
--Goalie Brady Knode, Briar Woods, had a 0.33 GAA during the regular season in leading his team to the Championship game.  
--Defensemen Christopher Valko, backbone of a Langley defense that went undefeated in the regular season and allowed a league low 19 goals.  
--Defensemen/Forward Landon Street, John Champe/Lightridge, led his team to the NVSHL Provisional Championship with a team high 14 goals and added two points in the Championship game.

--Forward Matt Green, Kettle Run, led Kettle Run with 33 points in leading Kettle Run to the NVSHL Provisional Championship Game. 
--Forward Will Schneider, Loudoun Valley/Woodgrove, NVSHL leading scorer during the regular season with 46 points and which included a league leading 26 goals.  
--Kyle Tinschert, Independence, led his team to the semifinals and scored a NVSHL high of 12 points during the playoffs.  .
