NVSHL 2016-2017 Quarter Finals

Ashburn Ice House provided venue for first round upsets, 12th ranked Riverside surprised Langley with a close fought 5-3 victory. Freshman Reid Leibold proved to much to handle as he lead the way with 2 goals and 2 helpers. On the east side, Oakton walked over Westfield as they filled the net with 11 as Westfield responded with 6.
In Reston, Battlefield put scare into Yorktown jumping into a 4-1 lead...then Neuman and Wells combination took over as Yorktown potted 7 unanswered tallies for a 8-4 win. In the closest game of the evening, Bishop Ireton beat Chantilly 5-2 in an evening matched game.
