Langley senior center Hunter McFadden and goalie Brett Hatfield have advanced to the finals of the 2008-2009 Washington Capitals Shootout Championship in the Midget Division. Open to all High School and Metro Midget clubs, the elimination tournament was held Saturday, September 20 in conjunction with the opening day of the Capitals Training Camp at Kettler Ice Complex. The finals will be conducted between periods of the Caps vs. Penguins game at the Verizion Center on March 8th.
Brett, who won the championship last year commented, “This year the competition will be a bit more challenging as we are up against an AAA club, but Hunter and I will be ready.”
